The official website of the Japan Pavilion (hereinafter, "Website," http://shanghai.expo-japan.jp/) at Expo 2010 Shanghai, China is managed and operated by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The Website may be used freely in accordance with these Terms of Use. Use of the Website shall be construed as indicating that the user has agreed to the Terms of Use.
Ⅰ. Intellectual Property Rights

The intellectual property rights for all content, text, images, data, information, and other material (hereinafter referred to collectively as "Content") displayed on the Website (including rights to all trademarks or copyrights, hereinafter referred to collectively as "Intellectual Property Rights"), are the property of JETRO or the designated owner and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and regulations.

The Website may used and its content downloaded and printed within the range of intended purposes only in accordance with these Terms of Use and applicable laws and regulations. Users may not reproduce, sell, publish, distribute, modify, display, or use any of the Website Content without the prior written permission of JETRO. Users may not infringe upon, dilute, remove, or modify any Intellectual Property Rights or related notices showing proprietorship on the Website.
Ⅱ. User Obligations
1. Compliance with Laws
In using the Website, users shall comply with all relevant and applicable laws and regulations.
2. Exemption from Liability
JETRO shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage or any trouble arising from the use of the Content or any external website linked to the Website. The Website is for users' convenience, and JETRO makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, validity, completeness, or fitness for users' particular purposes of any Content posted by JETRO, or any content, links and other information posted by third parties that are not subject to JETRO's control and responsibility, as well as JETRO's translations thereof. JETRO advises users to review the terms of use of any external website linked to the Website.
3. Indemnification
Users shall not make or seek any demands, claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, or compensation for harm, including attorneys' fees, on or from JETRO or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and contractors arising in connection with use of the Website, online conduct, or dealings or contracts with third parties using the Website.

Links to the Website may be made freely in principle. However, links may be refused if the content at the source of the link (a) is offensive to public order and morals, (b) is deemed to contain content that is or may be illegal, or (c) may invite misunderstanding by other parties. When links are made to the Website, please contact the person in charge at JETRO (see Contact Us) with a written description including the page and URL being linked to, the content and URL at the link source, and the purpose in making the link. 2. Representation of Website Links
Any link to the Website should be clearly identified as a link to the Website of the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai, China. JETRO reserves the right to request modification or deletion of links to the Website, depending on the link method and page content.
3. Logo
A logo for the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai, China has been prepared for use when making links. Please use this logo. Note, however, that this logo may not be used for purposes other than links to the Website.
Ⅳ. Miscellaneous
1. Privacy Policy
User registration information or user information acquired by JETRO will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Website of the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai, China. This Privacy Policy constitutes a part of these Terms of Use. Article Ⅳ Section 3 of these Terms of Use shall also be applied to the Privacy Policy of the Website.
2. Separate Terms of Use
To use some parts of the Website Content, users may be required to consent to separate terms of use in addition to the Terms of Use set forth herein. In the event of a conflict between the Terms of Use set forth herein and terms prescribed separately, the terms prescribed separately supersede the Terms of Use set forth herein.
3. Dispute Resolution, Applicable Laws, and Forum
With respect to any and all disputes arising between JETRO and a user in connection with the Website or these Terms of Use, JETRO and the user agree to negotiate in good faith and undertake reasonable efforts to cooperate with one another in order to achieve a mutually satisfactory resolution. JETRO has no obligation to become involved in any dispute between a user and any other person. The Website, these Terms of Use, and any dispute arising in connection therewith shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court of Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with the Website or these Terms of Use. Any claim or legal action relating to the Website and these Terms of Use must be filed no later than one (1) year after the cause of action arises.
4. Modification of the Terms of Use
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreement or communication between them. JETRO reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. If the Terms of Use are revised or updated, JETRO will post the revised or updated Terms of Use, including the effective date of the revision or update, on the Website. It shall be construed that a user consents to the revised or updated Terms of Use at the time when the user first uses the Website after the revised or updated Terms of Use have been posted.
